Summer
The entrance to the farm, looking back towards Perry City Road

Welcome. This is the home of all things fiber. There are fiber animals, fiber workshops and lots of soft wonderful fiber of all kinds.
NEWS FLASH!
May 4th 2011 Me & da Boyz (alpacas) made the front page of the Trumansburg Free Press
And, soon I will be offering short Summer classes for visitors to the Ithaca area as well as the regular Fiber Journey sessions. I’m also checking into possibilities of demonstrating spinning etc at the Trumansburg Farmer’s Market.
And there’s a new blog about daily happenings on the farm, where you can keep up with the life of the animal residents, workshops in session and product development.
I will be spinning and demonstrating fiber preparation with the Blacksheep Handspinners at City Farm Day, August 13 at Freebrook Farm in Freeville. Hours are 11AM-4PM
I promise I will post pictures! I’m taking new pictures and will recreating the pages everyone loved on our old site of the residents in action. BTW: The ewes had their lambs between April 12 & April 24. Five new babies–three girls & two boys.
What I miss about warm weather: Being able to leave the doors & windows open, the sound and smell of the rain, and the millions of shades of green.
What I don’t miss: Bug bites, poison ivy, humidity.
What I’ll miss about the cold weather: Snuggling under blankets with the kitties, warm fires in the wood stoves.
What I won’t miss: Hauling water to the barn.
